Budding football stars across Devon invited to Exeter City holiday courses

Exeter City Community Trust’s holiday courses return in February half-term in a range of locations across Devon.

Ben Strange from the club said: “We’re renowned for providing fun, engaging and active holiday courses for youngsters between the ages of 5 and 14, whether it be exclusively football or multi-sports too.

“The days provide exciting skill-based games as well as tournaments where you have the opportunity to win prizes at the end of the week. You may even get a visit from an Exeter City football club first team player.

“We’ll be in a number of different locations across the county with the aim of reaching out to as many youngsters as possible.

“In Exeter, we’ll be spending a whole week from Monday, February 18 to Friday 22 at the fantastic facility that is Exwick Sports Hub. We’ll also be at Brixington Primary School in Exmouth for the full five days.

“We’ll be in North Devon throughout the week at four different locations, on different days. We’ll be in Barnstaple on the Monday and Tuesday, as well as Marwood primary school on Tuesday, Braunton College on Wednesday and we round off the week at Ilfracombe College on the Thursday and Friday.

“We’ll also be popping up in Cranbrook, Teignmouth, Tiverton, Sidmouth and Okehampton to provide some exciting opportunities to get active and play football.

“All of our coaching staff will have a level one or two qualification in Sports Coaching, ensuring your children are well looked after while making new friends, learning new skills and enjoying their half-term break to the max.”
