Devon Air Ambulance landed on Teignmouth beach after a jetskier was pulled from the water by members of the public and RNLI crews.

The man is thought to have injured himself in the water before being rescued by lifeboat crews on Sunday afternoon.

He was pulled onto the shore before being taken away in the air ambulance at around 4.45pm.

Eyewitnesses saw the lifesaving crews gathered around on the beach after rescuing the man from the water.

A Teignmouth RNLI spokesman said: “A jetskier injured himself and lifeboatd rescued him.”
